Groups start promoting new domain names to members

Associated General Contractors of America wants to help members cut through the online clutter. Beginning in mid-April, AGC members can receive a discounted price for a new address using .build—one of hundreds of new generic top-level domains to be added to the Internet this year and next.

“It will be easier for our members to be found,” said Jeff Wilson, AGC chief marketing strategist. “It was an opportunity for us to join the train early as well.”
