There have been plenty of technological advancements from when Murphy first started her journey in the industry to now—like virtual showings, social media and mobile organizational applications. She sees these new capabilities as a convenience to both the customer and the REALTOR®—benefits that should only strengthen in-person communication.

Although the majority of Murphy’s clients come through referrals, they still contact her through her site before she meets with them in-person. And written documents are unavoidable in her process—but she still keeps an electronic copy on her at all times for assurance.

“If you are doing your job right, to gain and keep that trust with both the buyer and the seller, you need that human interaction,” Murphy says. “Technology complements that crucial component of our jobs, making our interactions easier.”
